21 Sep 2017: Congratulations to Indigenous Accountants Australia (IAA) Project Director Mark Jones, who was recently awarded the Governor of South Australia’s Ambassador Award for services to Indigenous employment.

The award is presented to South Australian business people from some of the state’s leading companies for their efforts in helping to close the Aboriginal employment gap as part of the Governor’s Aboriginal Employment Industry Cluster Program. Mark was recognised for his work in the Accounting and Finance sector, including his role with IAA.

The award was presented by His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC at a special event at the South Australian Museum in the Indigenous Artifacts and Collections room.

“It was an honour to receive the Governor’s award. It highlights the value of the work being done by a number of people and organisations across government, industry, the professions and education providers to increase the level of Indigenous employment” said Mark.
